Meet Julie Bride

Education, music, theater, and creativity have been a big part of my life. Both of my parents were teachers, so I learned the value of exploring and discovering my passions early in life. These passions include music, theater, art and working with children. I hold a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Portland.

Family life is very important to me. My husband Phil and I have been very involved in our children’s education. I have volunteered in many activities, been a scout leader and participated in community service. Phil has led scouts and coached many youth sports plus been involved with and led youth sports organizations. I provided childcare for several years when my children were young. I have spent many years working with students in the Beaverton Schools as a volunteer teaching various subjects, including art literacy. As a part of my volunteer work I have served as a classroom and activities coordinator, chaperoned field trips and assisted with special projects.

I will bring my passion working with children to Creative Child Preschool. Your children will experience the joys of learning with a large dose of creativity.
